A few helpful answers.
For the App-controlled Pluva Heating Pad. Follow the instructions and care label supplied with your own product.
Connect your pad
Connect your pad to power. The pad can connect while its heating is off. Keep your phone nearby and turn on Bluetooth.
Open Pair Device and allow the Bluetooth permissions requested by your phone. On older Android versions, scanning may also require Location permission and Location services.
Select your pad from the list and wait for Connected and its current controls to appear. If several pads appear, connect only the one you can identify. Disconnect power from other nearby pads if needed.
For the supported pad, phone connection does not require a confirmation press on the pad button. An existing controller or another phone may occupy the connection; disconnect it before trying again.
After a successful connection, the app remembers your pad on this phone. Opening the app can reconnect automatically. Connecting never sends a command to turn heating on.
Power and heat levels
Use Power to turn heating on or off. Connected controls follow information received from your pad. If the app shows a dash, the current device state is unavailable.
Tap L1 through L6 to choose a level directly. Use minus or plus to move one level at a time. The buttons stop at L1 and L6; they do not wrap around.
Start at a low level, check your skin regularly, and stop if heat becomes uncomfortable or redness occurs. A level is a setting, not a guaranteed skin or surface temperature.
On the pad itself, short-press the button to turn heating on. Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn it off. While on, short-press to cycle through the six heat levels. Check the selected level each time you turn it on.
The button color shows the selected level: L1 blue, L2 green, L3 purple, L4 cyan, L5 orange, and L6 red. A flashing purple light indicates a fault: unplug the pad and stop using it.
After use, turn the pad off and unplug it. A dark button light or an Off display following automatic sleep does not prove the pad cannot resume heating.
Set a timer
Turn heating on, then enable Timer. Tap the time to open the wheel, choose a preset, and tap Done. Cancel leaves your current choice unchanged.
Available choices are No Timer, 30 min, 1 hr, 1.5 hr, 2 hr, 3 hr, 4 hr, 5 hr, and 6 hr. Custom hours or minutes are not supported.
The connected app shows the remaining minutes reported by the pad. The pad has no timer display on its button; the visible result on the pad is that heating turns off at the end of the selected time.
Choose No Timer or turn Timer off to cancel the user timer. This does not disable the pad's independent safety protections.
When you select a different preset, check that the new setting is confirmed. Re-selecting the current preset does not send a restart command.
Closing or disconnecting the app is not a way to turn the pad off. Check the current timer after reconnecting.
Control the button light
While heating is on, use Pad Button Light to switch the pad's indicator light on or off. This control is unavailable while heating is off.
Turning the light off does not turn heating off and does not change your selected heat level or timer.
The button light also goes dark during the pad's automatic sleep. The light alone cannot tell you whether the pad is heating, asleep, or switched off.
Use Power to stop heating. When finished, turn off and unplug the pad.
Understand automatic sleep
After about two hours without activity, the pad can enter automatic sleep. Heating stops and the button light goes out.
Movement or use can wake the pad and resume heating. This behavior is controlled by the pad itself; the app does not send automatic sleep or wake commands.
The pad reports its heating state to the app. During automatic sleep, the app shows Off; when the pad wakes, it shows On again.
The current feedback does not identify sleep separately from other Off states. Treat Off as the reported heating state, not proof that movement cannot restart heating.
Sleep is not a substitute for turning off and unplugging. Unplug the pad after use or before leaving it unattended. Do not use it while sleeping.
Fix a connection problem
Keep the powered pad near your phone. Check Bluetooth and the requested permissions. If an older controller or another phone is connected, disconnect it.
If the pad is missing, check its power connection and try searching again. A remembered device may reconnect automatically when the app is open. Use Reconnect if it is offered.
A dash means fresh device information is not available. Wait for status to return before adjusting settings. The app will not resend an unconfirmed heating command automatically.
If a change cannot be confirmed, check the pad using its physical button, then reconnect. If you cannot stop heating from the app, use the pad button or unplug its power adapter.
Moving to another app does not intentionally close an established connection, but your phone may stop the app in the background. Return to Pluva and allow it to reconnect. Ending the app or turning off Bluetooth does not turn the pad off.
If the problem keeps happening, contact Pluva with your phone model, what you tapped, and what happened. You can choose to copy a diagnostic report from the connection information button. Reports can contain device identifiers; review them before sharing.
Care and safe use
Read the product instructions and sewn-in care label. Inspect the pad, cable, and adapter before use. Stop using damaged cords, connectors, or a damaged pad.
Do not use while sleeping, for infants, or for anyone unable to respond to discomfort. Do not use on areas with reduced heat sensitivity or poor circulation. Users who need help operating it require close supervision by a responsible caregiver.
Never use the pad wet or damp. Do not combine it with another heating device or cover it with heavy bedding that traps heat. Do not pin, sharply fold, crush, or place heavy objects on the heating area.
Use the supplied 45 W adapter, or a compliant USB-C PD 3.0 adapter supporting 15 V DC / 3 A. A replacement USB-C to USB-C cable must support at least 3 A. Keep the cord away from walkways and avoid pulling or pinching it.
Before cleaning, turn off, unplug the adapter from the pad and wall outlet, and allow the pad to cool. Secure the pad's cord in its storage pocket and close the zipper as described in the supplied guide.
Machine wash according to the pad's care label. The supplied guide specifies low tumble drying below 149°F (65°C) and no dry cleaning. Reconnect power only when the pad is completely dry. If your care label differs or is missing, ask Pluva before washing.
Let the pad cool and dry completely before storage. Store it in a clean, dry place. If the purple light flashes, disconnect power immediately and do not continue use.
Coverage and registration
Base coverage lasts 3 months from delivery. Register within those first 3 months to extend your Heating Pad coverage to a total of 12 months from delivery. Registration does not restart the clock.
Pluva provides a free replacement for quality defects during normal use within the applicable coverage period. This is not a no-reason return program.
Tap Extend your coverage to open the Pluva registration website. Enter your email; your order number is optional. Read the terms and submit the form. Opening the page does not register you. You can hide the home reminder in Help & support after registering.
The registration website needs internet access. No account is needed to use the pad, the App, or customer support. Registration does not require marketing emails or a public review.
Keep your order confirmation. Registration received means your details were saved; it does not verify your order or confirm coverage eligibility. Pluva may ask for proof of purchase when checking a service request.
For a replacement request, email support@whatispluva.online with your order number and a short description of the problem. Stop using a damaged or faulty pad and contact Pluva before returning it.
Applicable commitments for earlier purchases and your rights under applicable law remain in place. Read the terms at www.whatispluva.com/pages/heating-pad-coverage.
